Welcome to the Senior-Junior Forum (SJF) information page. The Senior-Junior Forum is a diverse group of women volunteers, comprising approximately 130 members who share a common belief in the power of community and a dedication to making a difference. Our mission is simple but profound: to provide help, hope, and opportunity to those in need. And through our partnerships, volunteerism, and generosity, we continue to bring that mission to life.
From our founding in 1934 to this very moment, the members of the Senior-Junior Forum, a 501 c) (3) non-profit organization and the service department of the Woman’s Forum, have worked tirelessly to serve our community, dedicating countless hours and resources to charitable causes. Through events like the Red River Wine and Beer Festival, the Woman’s Forum Christmas Tour of Homes, and Say Who? Karaoke, we have raised vital funds to support the organizations that make our community stronger.
Our commitment goes beyond fundraising. We take pride in the firsthand work we do—whether it is providing scholarships for students, aiding victims of sexual abuse, engaging with individuals with special needs, or ensuring that meals are delivered to those who need them most. The impact of our efforts can be seen in the organizations we support: The Arc of Wichita County, The Arts Council, Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind, Midwestern State University & Vernon College Scholarships, The Kitchen (Meals on Wheels- Wichita County), Patsy's House, Special Olympics, Southside Youth Senter (formerly Northside Girls Club)- established by the Senior- Junior Forum in 1965 and a recipient of a trust maintained by American Bank & Trust, Whispers of Hope, the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, and the Kell House Museum.
Along with all our volunteer opportunities, we take the time to have fun with socials, ranging from BUNCO, game nights, crafting, shopping, and day trips to local wineries.
Currently, the major fundraiser of the Senior-Junior Forum is the Red River Wine & Beer Festival (https://www.redriverwineandbeerfestival.com/). All of the proceeds from this event directly support our city’s charities, benefiting the community of Wichita Falls. We hope you will join us for this fun and exciting wine and beer-tasting event.

The Senior-Junior Forum is also host to the Annual Woman’s Forum Christmas Tour of Homes. Each year, several gracious homeowners in our community will open their decorative houses for the public to see their Christmas spirit. This event continues to grow each year thanks to our community and volunteers.
Our newest fundraiser started in 2024. Say Who? Karaoke continues to grow with local contestants competing for the honor of being named the winner of Say Who? Karaoke. It is an evening full of live competitive singing rounds and audience participation. Please join us!
Members pay dues of $120.00, which includes dues to The Woman’s Forum.
